Hello and welcome to my SALE of these award wining speakers from Gale. The manufacturers of the Gold Monitors have been producing these award wining speakers for decades now . The Gale Gold Monitors feature all the hallmarks that have made Gale such popular speakers. The solid cabinets are manufactured from MDF for maximum rigidity and reduced colouration and come in a Black Effect finish. With 2 drive units, the Gale Gold Monitor is a proper small speaker. The Gale Gold Monitors are carefully crafted with a chamfered front panel and even feature gold-plated bi-wirable 4mm binding posts. KEY FEATURES: Sensitivity (dB) - 88 The higher the figure the easier it is to drive - meaning that a less powerful amp may be used. Impedance (ohms) - 6 Resistance. A standard figure is 8 ohm. Figure halves when doubling the number of speakers Power Rating (Watts) - [ Up for grabs is a stuning pair of Eltax Millenium 400 speakers. I have had these speakers a few years & they have given me plenty of enjoyment. The build quality is lovely & the sound quality fantastic, they really can deliver the highs, mids & pounding lows with ease ! The have their original isolation spikes & are in excellent condition. I separated the 2 bottom 8 inch drivers in these speakers by adding a another set of speaker terminals. This allows you to use a 2 or 4 chanel amp on them or as I did use them as both Front speakers & subwoofer for a surround system. This worked fantastically well for me. It meant I did not have to have an ugly sub hanging around but still had the bass needed to back up movies effects. I have never hammered these speakers, always used them way under their m
